Riempie furniture was used by the early 1820 settlers who were on the move and needed lightweight chairs that utilized the materials available and the technique of riempies (leather thongs) provided just that.
I love the idea of working with one string to cover the whole area. I hope it will last better than the leather riempies.
Because it is quite thick, its difficult to work with.
Will order some more. Love that is comes in a role and you can cut off as needed!
